Daewoo Builds New City Within Hanoi
Daewoo will build a new city within the city of Hanoi, Vietnam.According to the Ministry of Construction and Transportation on December 17, the city will house a population of 250,000 and Daewoo will begin construction in early 2000 and expects its final completion in 2020.
It is the first time a Korean construction company will create a new town abroad. Daewoo is expecting to earn at least two billion dollars from the project.
Vietnam's ministers and construction-related delegates have visited Korea to see Korea's new satellite cities Bundang and Ilsan.
