Hyundai Signs 485 Million Dollar Shipbuilding Order

Hyundai Mipo Dockyard and Hyundai Trading Co. received shipbuilding orders worth 485 million dollars from a company based in Bermuda.
According to Hyundai group the companies signed a deal with Project Ozone Co. of Bermuda on March 10 to build 13 ships which will be used for installing underwater cabling.
The special, value-added ships are scheduled to be delivered to Project Ozone Co. beginning August 2000. Once the ships are delivered they will begin laying 168,000 km of cable under seas near 78 different countries in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.
