4minute, G.NA and BEAST perform in London


Idol groups 4minute, G.NA and BEAST wowed fans at a concert in London on Dec. 5.

K-pop fans from Spain, Norway, Sweden, France and other European nations gathered at the “United Cube Concert” in London, which featured Korean idol singers belonging to the Cube Entertainment agency.

The concert was held at the 02 Brixton Academy, a venue where iconic artists like Madonna, Bob Dylan and Marilyn Manson have performed. Some 35,000 fans filled the concert hall as the entertainers performed for two and a half hours.

G.NA sang her hit songs such as “Banana” and “Top Girl” while 4Minute entertained the crow with “Musik” and “Mirror Mirror.” BEAST showcased “Bad Girl” and “Fiction” among many other songs.

Leader of the group 4Minute, Nam Ji-hyun said, “I am so grateful for the support of British fans towards K-pop. Thanks for waiting for us.”
Yoon Du-jun from BEAST said, “I’m so happy we got to come to such a great place and perform for the fans. We gave it our best to remain in your memories.”

The concert marked the first time that an Asian artist took to the stage at the 02 Brixton Academy. Cube Entertainment said it was happy to stage an event in England, “the place of birth for pop music.”
The next stop on the “United Cube Concert” will be in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
