Lee Min-ho visits China for New Year's
According to the occasion, Lee showed up with a New Year's gift of lacquerware ornaments and a greeting card for the host of the show. The Korean actor also introduced the culture and customs of his home country by giving out traditional straw ornaments to audience members.
Local media reported that although only around 500 people are invited to watch the recording of the show, on this occasion 1,500 fans turned up to see Lee. Due to the high demand for seats, scalpers were charging up to one million won ($864) to the free event.
The producer of the show also thanked the star on his personal social network service site by saying, "Thank you to all who were on the show today. Lee Min-ho, because of you, today I was victorious."
Lee rose to fame from his leading role on the teenage drama "Boys Over Flowers." This year he featured in the detective drama "City Hunter" and made headlines by dating his co-star Park Min-young.
