Kim So-eun confirms lead role in ‘Gap Soon’
“The upcoming drama hopes to appeal to viewers by telling the love story of an average couple.”
The 26-year-old will play a woman who continues to fail the civil servant examination despite her best efforts. In the meantime, her character is barely able to make a living through working as a temp.
According to SBS, the drama will bring up various issues including marriage, divorce and remarriage.
Kim will star opposite actor Song Jae-rim. The two celebrities’ chemistry was well-documented in MBC’s reality program “We Got Married,” in which they pretended to be married from 2015 to 2016.
The new drama will air after “Yeah, That’s How It Is,” which runs on weekends at 8:45 p.m.
“Our Gap Soon” will be directed by Boo Sung-chul, who is known for popular dramas like “The Heirs” (2013)” and “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho” (2010).
