Jang will donate exhibition profits
Actor Jang Keun-suk will donate the entire 50 million ($44,800) won that came from a photo exhibition held by his fans over the weekend to celebrate Jang’s birthday.
“The admission fees collected will be spent on helping poor neighbors,” said a person affiliated with Jang’s entertainment company Tree J Company. The source did not specify where exactly the money will be spent.
Around 1,500 people came to the event held at a gallery in Chungdam-dong, southern Seoul, which featured photos taken by the actor.
“It was a very meaningful time for me that reminded me of my memories,” said Jang, who attended the event.
“I give huge thanks to my fans who volunteered to organize this project. I hope they are here again next year to spend time together. ”
The same event was held by his fans last year, and 6 million won earned from the exhibition was donated to Snail of Love, an organization that supports people with hearing impairments.
