Actor Lee Jong-suk confirmed for ‘VIP’

Actor Lee Jong-suk has been confirmed to star in the upcoming film “VIP.”

The film will revolve around the son of a high-ranking official in North Korea who commits a series of murders, leading South and North Korean police to chase after him. In the flick, Lee will play the son of a high-ranking official in North Korea.

Lee will be joined by actors Jang Dong-gun, Park Hee-soon and Kim Myung-min.

The 26-year-old is currently appearing in MBC’s webtoon-based drama “W,” which is one of the most popular currently on the air. His acting talent has been noted in various dramas including “Pinocchio” and “I Can Hear Your Voice,” and Lee is currently one of the most in-demand actors in the industry.

Meanwhile, Lee is scheduled to begin shooting for the upcoming movie as soon as “W” wraps up.
