First Exo subunit is ready with debut album
The trio consisting of members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin previously announced their debut on Saturday with a one-minute teaser video “HOT DEBUT: EXO’S FIRST UNIT” on the group’s official YouTube channel. The video has already topped one million views since its release.
The three members of the upcoming subunit previously recorded a song together for the official soundtrack of the SBS drama “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo,” in which member Baekhyun starred.
Exo has enjoyed monumental success since its debut in 2012, with all three of their studio albums selling over one million records worldwide. Its members have also been faring well in other entertainment outlets like film and television.
Exo-CBX will join a host of K-pop groups returning in November with new albums, including idol groups Shinhwa, Big Bang, BlackPink, Akdong Musician, Sechs Kies and T-ARA.
