Yoo Jae-myung cast in ‘Confession’

Actor Yoo Jae-myung will join the cast of tvN’s upcoming series “Confession,” along with singer-turned-actor Lee Jun-ho from boy band 2PM.

According to drama PR agency The Tik Tok on Thursday, Yoo will play the role of Gi Chun-ho, a former detective who dealt with violent crimes.

Once a zealous leader, Chun-ho leaves his job after a suspect under his watch is declared innocent. However, he continues to investigate the case, believing that the suspect is a real criminal.

Meanwhile, Lee will play the role of a lawyer named Choi Do-hyeon who investigates the case of his father, a man indicted for murder.

The series, which tells the story of lawyers who seek the truth behind laws that prohibit double jeopardy, is set to premiere in March.
