2019.2.22 Hotel events
Today: Lounge & Bar at The Westin Chosun Seoul is hosting a guest bartending event with bartender Jin Hwan Kim scheduled to be held at 8 p.m. The renowned mixologist has built his career at The Bar Musk and Coffee Bar K. Moreover, he has been recognized internationally as the winner of Diageo World Class Korea 2018 and Beefeater MIXLDN 2017. His exceptional cocktails have mesmerized people around the world through collaborations with various hotel bars such as The Macallan Whisky Bar & Lounge and The Ritz-Carlton’s The Lounge & Bar both in Macau and Bar TCRC in Taiwan.
Those in attendance will have the chance to enjoy a bottle of Johnnie Walker Platinum Label 18 Year Old and a smoked platter for 400,000 won ($355.57). To help guests enjoy their whisky in a more delectable way, the world-renowned bartender and Ray Kim from The Westin Chosun Seoul will prepare three cocktails: “Chosun Collins,” “The Maestro” and “Traveling Sour.” Guests can indulge in two of the three cocktails and the smoked platter, featuring salmon, cheese and smoked ham for about 100,000 won.
Lounge & Bar will also host a lucky draw event, targeting guests who enjoy Johnnie Walker Platinum Label 18 Year Old. The winner will be given a voucher for an overnight stay in a Business Deluxe room.
Guests can also savor cocktails at their tables thanks to the “moving bar” that Lounge & Bar first introduced to Korea, making the evening the one-of-a-kind event. Only 15 tables will be offered for the exclusive event.
