Cube adds a new duo to its lineup

Cube Entertainment announced the launch of a new unit on Friday, consisting of two members: Lai Kuan-lin and Wooseok of boy band Pentagon.

The newly-founded team will be named WooseokXKuanlin, and will release a song in March, according to the agency.

“We look forward to the chemistry between the two members, who both have exquisite rapping skills as well as charming looks,” said Cube Entertainment.

While Wooseok is a part of the nine-member act Pentagon, which recently released their Japanese EP “COSMO” on Feb. 13, this will be Lai’s first activity as a singer after his year and a half with boy band Wanna One.

Lai’s future - whether he will be part of a group or make a solo debut - has not been decided by the agency.
