Ulju film fest opens up competition

Ulju Mountain Film Festival opened its annual film contest “2020 Ulju Summit” on Monday. It will accept entries until June 14.

The contest has been held to promote the creation of local films about mountains. Long films should be at least 70 minutes long, while short films must be under 30 minutes long.

Any individual or production company with experience in filmmaking is allowed to participate. Contestants’ films will go through a two-step evaluation process in July and the nominated films will be announced in August through the festival’s website (www.umff.kr). The winning film will make its local premiere at next year’s event.
