Gonghwachun was Korea’s first Chinese restaurant and its original building is now a museum. The restaurant continues on nearby and is most proud of having introduced Korea to jajangmyeon, black bean noodles derived from Beijing’s zhajiangmian.
You can choose a normal bowl or a deluxe version studded with shrimp and tofu. It may not be the best you’ve ever had - but it’s a taste of history.
