Mnet to air 2019 BBMAs on May 2Cable network Mnet will be broadcasting the 2019 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) live on Thursday.
The channel announced on Friday that it will be airing the BBMAs on May 2 starting at 9 a.m. This is the second year the network has aired the annual music event.
For fans of BTS, this year’s awards should not be missed.
Not only will the septet perform their latest hit “Boy With Luv” with pop singer Halsey, but they have been nominated for Top Duo/Group for the first time.
BTS has also been nominated for Top Social Artist for the third year in a row, and fans are hoping to see them actually take home an award this year, and becoming the first K-pop group in history to do so.
Stars such as Sam Smith, Mariah Carey and Madonna will also be taking the stage this year. Singer Kelly Clarkson is hosting the event for the second year in a row.
Entertainer Oh Sang-jin will be emceeing the Mnet broadcast, with support from pop music critic Kang Myoung-seok and interpretation from Ahn Hyun-mo.
