BTS album still on Billboard top 10

“Map of the Soul: Persona,” the latest album by K-pop super band BTS, stayed in the top 10 of the Billboard main album chart for the fourth consecutive week, the chart showed Wednesday.

The record ranked eighth on the Billboard 200 for the week ending May 18, down a notch from seventh the previous week.

It marks the fourth week in a row that the album has been among Billboard 200’s top 10 albums since it debuted at No. 1.

“Boy With Luv,” featuring Halsey, the main track of “Persona,” ranked 51st on the main Billboard single chart, Hot 100, for this week as well. The single peaked at eighth on the chart.

The band also topped Billboard’s Social 50 chart for the 96th week in a row this week, the longest winning streak on the chart ever.

The previous BTS album, “Love Yourself: Answer,” remained on the Billboard 200 this week, coming in at 85th.

Currently, the septet is on the U.S. leg of their globe-trotting concert tour, “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself.”
