Jinu’s solo debut comes on Aug. 14
K-pop star Jinu, a member of boy band Winner, announced the date of his solo debut. On the official blog of his agency YG Entertainment, a teaser poster with date Aug. 14 was released. In the poster, the singer is shown in a brick-colored shirt.
Jinu’s debut as a solo artist comes five years after the singer took to the stage as part of Winner. He said it is still awkward for him to hear the word “solo” after so much time spent with other members of the group, yet he is also excited to go solo.
Winner, since its debut in 2014, has reached No. 1 with all the title songs of the albums it released, so many are waiting to see if Jinu can do the same.
