Park Chan-wook to attend awards

Renowned filmmaker Park Chan-wook will be attending this year’s Seoul Drama Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, event organizers announced on Thursday.

Organizers also reported that local celebrities such as Kim Dong-wook, Kim Nam-gil, Jang Na-ra, and foreign actors Vivian Sung, Miura Haruma, Helen Yao and the cast of the CBC sitcom series “Kim’s Convenience,” including Lee Sun-hyung, Jean Yoon and Andrea Bang, will be attending the ceremony.

Park is also planning to participate in a guest visit program to talk about his role as the director of the BBC mini series “The Little Drummer Girl” on Sept. 1 at an event hosted by the Korean Film Archive.
