TVXQ, Super Junior go back to 2002
Footage of TVXQ and Super Junior members’ recent trip to Indonesia will be released as a YouTube Original series “Analog Trip” from Oct. 9, according to the production company SM Culture & Contents on Wednesday.
U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin of TVXQ and Super Junior members Shindong, Donghae, Eunhyuk and Leeteuk were given days off to go backpacking in Indonesia.
As the title implies, the theme of the trip was “Back to 2002,” when the boys were trainees and there were no smartphones. The six stars were only given analog things to assist their journey, such as paper guidebooks and MP3 players.
“It’s known throughout the entertainment industry that members from the two groups are close,” said an insider from the entertainment industry. “Through the trip, they had the chance to look back on their old days and focus only on each other.”
The first episode will be released through YouTube on Oct. 9 and periodically updated for 12 weeks every Wednesday at 10 p.m. YouTube Premium subscribers will be able to view all 12 episodes on Oct. 9.
