‘s.s.t’ singer Woo Hye-mi dies at 31Singer Woo Hye-mi, 31, was found dead in her residence on Saturday, her agency said on Sunday.
Woo was found dead in her house in Mangwon-dong, western Seoul, by friends and police who visited her house after not being able to get in touch with her for two days.
Police are still looking into the cause of death.
According to her agency, DownTown ENM, they had not been able to get a hold of her when they tried to contact her to talk about the music video for her new single.
“We are currently under immense confusion on the sudden news,” the agency said.
Woo made her debut through Mnet’s audition program “Voice Korea” in 2012, and was known for her unique style of singing. She released her last EP “s.s.t” in August.
