After a six-year hiatus, YB is back

YB, formerly known as the Yoon Do-hyun Band, is returning to the music scene next Thursday with their 10th album, titled “Twilight State.”

According to their agency Dee Company, the album is the band’s first release in six years. Their most recent full-length album, “Reel Impulse,” dropped in 2013.

For their latest album, the band is telling their story with a philosophical attitude accompanied by sentimental melodies, unlike their usual bold sounds. The album’s 13 tracks incorporate diverse genres including alternative, psychedelic rock and folk rock.

“YB always pursues growth and change. For this album, they’ve produced high-quality works by collaborating with artists from diverse fields,” the agency explained.

YB will hold a press showcase next Friday. The band will go on to promote their new album through concerts at the Blue Square IMarket Hall in Yongsan District, central Seoul, on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.
