Kim Jun-su scammed in hotel sale
Singer Kim Jun-su of boy band JYJ was conned while trying to sell a family-owned hotel, police said on Friday.According to the police, Kim and his father were scammed out of tens of billions of won while trying to sell their hotel. The two reported a real estate agent surnamed Jeong to police on charges of fraud.
Kim and his father sold off their possession rights to a hotel on Jeju Island, along with the land nearby, to a real estate company in January 2017.
They were reportedly “conned during the process” by Jeong, who is the owner of the company.
Jeong has denied having signed the actual contract. The police recently called in Kim’s father and Jeong for questioning.
