Film archive announces exhibition

The Korean Film Archive has announced their final special exhibition of the year, titled “The Power of Experiment, Resistance and Change,” with a focus on independent documentaries in honor of the centennial of Korean cinema.

The event kicks off today and runs until Nov. 28. The exhibition is made up of a total of five sections through which visitors can view independent documentaries that capture significant moments in history and also learn how the films are collected and preserved.

Some of the films scheduled to be screened are “Surise” (1984), “Parangsae” (1986), “Oh! Dream Land” (1989) and “The Emotional Society On Stage” (2014).

Admission for the screenings is free.
