‘Frozen 2’ soundtrack climbs charts

While “Frozen 2” dominates the local box office, the film’s soundtrack is also sweeping the top spots at the local music charts.

The movie’s most popular song, “Into The Unknown,” sung by Elsa in the story, is already in the top 10 on the majority of local music streaming services as of Tuesday morning.

On Melon, the song is ranked at seventh, while on Genie, Flo, Soribada and Olleh Music it ranks fifth and on Bugs it has already climbed all the way up to second.

“Show Yourself,” Elsa’s other song from the movie, is at 17th, 15th and 13th on Melon, Genie and Flo, respectively.

The soundtrack for “Frozen 2” is produced by the same team as “Frozen” - Robert Lopez, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Christophe Beck. The songs musically express Elsa and Anna’s emotions as they go on a journey to find their identities and places in the world.
