Hyundai Mobis vows to ‘do the right thing’
The auto parts affiliate of Hyundai Motor announced its new slogan “Do the right thing - compliance first” during a meeting with some 400 employees and representatives from its suppliers and business partners held at its technical center in Yongin, Gyeonggi.
As sustainable management becomes an important keyword in the business sphere, the auto company vowed to abide by the rules and regulations set by the company and regulators.
“Compliance management should not be one of our many business guidelines,” said Hyundai Mobis CEO Park Chung-kook. “It should be our main business philosophy.”
According to Mobis it has been running training and campaigns for compliance management every year so that its employees have better recognition.
The auto parts maker said it will develop customized guidelines for different jobs in the company to help workers in different departments know what rules to follow.
