Monsta X’s Jooheon to take break

Boy group Monsta X’s main rapper Jooheon has decided to take a break from performing due to anxiety disorder, according to his agency Starship Entertainment.

“Jooheon has been experiencing symptoms of anxiety, and we had him undergo checkups at various medical institutions,” the agency said. “He was diagnosed with ‘anxiety disorder’ and it was recommended that he take time to rest and recover.”

After discussing the matter with the other members of the group, the agency decided to put a temporary halt in Jooheon’s activities, and his return will also be determined through medical evaluation and discussion amongst the group members.

Due to his health problems, the rapper did not participate in some performances during iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball tour in the United States last month.

The group is scheduled to release an album in the United States next month.
