‘TT’ video reaches 500 million views
Girl group Twice’s music video for “TT” (2016) has surpassed 500 million views, its agency JYP Entertainment said on Thursday.
“‘TT,’ released in October 2016, hit the 500-million-view mark around 9:02 p.m. on Wednesday night, marking a first for Twice,” the agency said.
“TT” was released as the lead single off of its third EP “TWICEcoaster: LANE 1.” The song expresses the thoughts of a young girl in love.
The song was loved by not only fans but the greater public as well for its catchy choreography and became the group’s first video to surpass 300 million views in December 2017, also the first for a female K-pop act.
Twice is currently on the American leg of its world tour, which will continue to Japan in March for two concerts at the Tokyo Dome on March 3 and 4.
The grand finale of the tour will come on March 7 and 8 at the KSPO Dome, southern Seoul.
