ITZY to drop ‘IT’z ME’ EP next month

Girl group ITZY will drop its “IT’z ME” EP next month, the group’s agency JYP Entertainment said on Wednesday.

“ITZY will release its new album on March 9 with its signature energy and power,” the agency said.

The new music is the group’s third release after its debut last February with the song “Dalla Dalla.”

In July, the group dropped “ICY,” its first single.

According to the agency, the group’s new music will be all about showing a side of the girls that fans have not seen before, showing what it means to be “ME.”

Despite being a young act, ITZY has made a mark on the K-pop industry early on, with the videos for each of its hit songs, “Dalla Dalla” and “ICY,” surpassing 100 million views on YouTube.

The group was awarded 10 Rookie of the Year awards last year and a trophy at the 2019 Asia Artist Awards in Vietnam.
