More performers from overseas call off concerts due to outbreak

테스트

The coronavirus continues to affect the entertainment world, as performers from overseas cancel their Seoul concerts scheduled for the spring.

On Thursday, Italian pianist and composer Ludovico Einaudi’s April 20 Seoul concert was called off due to the ongoing outbreak.

“Based on the government’s recommendation that large events be held to the minimum, we have decided to cancel the show after talks with the artist,” concert organizer Live Nation said.

All tickets will be refunded without fees, the company said.

Live Nation also canceled a performance by English singer-songwriter Yungblud that was scheduled for March 14 in Hongdae, western Seoul.

Other performers from abroad who have canceled or postponed their shows include rock band Green Day, singer Mika, Tom Walker and Bruno Major.
