Local video platform AfreecaTV streamer Se Yeon is preparing to take internet trolls to court following a viral clip featuring her and HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk, the streamer said Tuesday.
AfreecaTV streamer Se Yeon cleared the air around the viral footage of her and HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk crossing a street together at Beverly Hills, saying that the encounter was purely casual.
AfreecaTV, the second largest streaming platform in Korea, is trying to woo Twitch streamers as the service prepares to exit Korea. Naver is also trying to bring popular creators to its new "Chzzk" service.
Twitch, a U.S. streaming service run by Amazon, is pulling out of Korea as of Feb. 27 next year, it said, due to expensive network fees.
