The first panda twins born in Korea shared one last cuddle with their mother on Tuesday before beginning their journey into independence.
The remains of Xin Nier, the grandmother of Fu Bao — the first Korea-born giant panda — are now on public display, showcasing her skeleton and internal organs.
The departure date for Fu Bao, Korea’s first giant panda, will likely be decided later this month. The 3-year-old female cub is expected to bid farewell to Koreans and return to China before she turns four in July.
