Kang Lee-seul scored 37 points to lead Korea to its first FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup win in 12 years on Saturday, breaking the all-time World Cup efficiency record in the process.
The women's basketball team will play two friendlies against the Latvian national team at Cheongju Gymnasium in North Chungcheong on Friday and Saturday.
The Korean national team was placed in group A for the 2022 Women's Basketball World Cup qualifiers alongside Australia, Serbia and Brazil on Tuesday.
