Six Korean companies including Posco and Samsung C&T have agreed to work together to promote the transition to clean energy, pledging to build a clean energy terminal in the eastern part of the country.
Posco is spending 750 billion won ($630 million) to build two liquefied natural gas (LNG) tanks in Gwangyang, South Jeolla, the company said Tuesday.
Posco Energy is set to become the first Korean company operating a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal.
Posco Energy sued U.S. partner FuelCell Energy (FCE) in the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), claiming $800 million in damages, the company said Friday.
