The Korea National Park Service announced Wednesday that it will release 30 red foxes in the Mount Sobaek area as part of an ongoing restoration project. The species became almost extinct due to a rodent eradication campaign in the 1970s.
Once again, all trails at Korea's national parks will be closed over New Year's in order to prevent people from gathering to watch the first sunrises of the incoming year.
