Korea plans to invest $362.3 million by 2030 to develop its own version of the Starlink network using low-earth orbit (LEO) satellites, aiming to enhance its technological capabilities in satellite communication.
Early this month, the U.S.-based space company filed an application for a license to provide telecommunication services in Korea with the Ministry of Science and ICT, according to the government.
