A war of words has broken out between a union and Coupang in the wake of a deadly warehouse fire last week, with lively protests being met with a flurry of statements from the embattled company.
E-commerce operator Coupang is reopening its Bucheon distribution center in Gyeonggi on Thursday, a month after a Covid-19 outbreak caused the center to shut its doors in late May.
Coupang resumed the operation of its Deokpyeong distribution center in Icheon, Gyeonggi, after employees who underwent Covid-19 testing were confirmed to be negative.
