Sunday's unusual snow and hailstones will likely continue into Monday afternoon after Korea began seeing an unexpected cold streak over the weekend.
Busan experienced a five-minute-long downpour of hail around 9 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the Korea Meteorological Administration.
Crops are damaged in Soya-ri in Jeokseong-myeon, Danyang Count in North Chungcheong Sunday afternoon, after a sudden hailstorm amid extreme weather phenomena over the weekend.
