The retail price of sweet persimmons in Korea increased by 32.2 percent on year on Monday to 14,736 won ($10.92) for a pack of 10, data from the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Corporation (aT) showed.
Dried persimmons hang from racks at a farm in Haman County, South Gyeongsang, on Monday. Persimmons are harvested in fall, then dried and sold in December and January.
