Telecommunication Service Market Will Reach 20.4 Trillion Won by 2002
The scale of the telecommunication service market will reach 20.4 trillion won by 2002, growing an average 10.2% per year.Booz Allen & Hamilton Co., a U.S. consulting firm, forecasted in a report presented to the Ministry of Information and Telecommunication that the mobile telephone market would grow annually by 14% to become the largest portion at 32.5% of the telecommunication service market.
The value added telecommunication market would grow by as much 30% and command a 13.9% portion, third highest, in the total telecommunication service market in 2002, the report indicated.
Whereas, the pager market would decrease by 2.5% per year and the portion would fall from 11.1% last year to 6% in 2002, the report analysed.
