LG Semiconductor Signs 250 Million Dollar Export Deal

LG Semiconductor will export semiconductors and TFT-LCD products, equivalent to 250 million dollars, to Compal, a notebook computer maker from Taiwan.
LG Semiconductor announced on October 15 that its president, Ku Bon Jun, and Ley Chen, president of Compal, signed a contract for the deal at Compal's headquarters in Taipei.
LG Semiconductor explained that it would receive 100 million dollars in advance orders by the end of October.
The products which LG Semiconductor will provide for Compal are 64 Mega and 128 Mega Synchronous D-RAMs and 64 Mega and 128 Mega Rambus D-RAMs. The TFT-LCD are the 13.3 inch, 14.1 inch and 15.1 inch models.
