Rep. Kim Yun Hwan Will Be Questioned on November 24
The Central Investigation Department (CID) of the Public Prosecutions Administration will investigate Rep. Kim Yun Hwan, a leading politician of the opposition Grand National Party (GNP) on the suspicion that he received three billion won from Kim Chan Du, the chairman of Duwon Group. The CID requested that Rep. Kim attend the prosecutor's office on November 24.It is alleged that Rep. Kim received the money as a fee and on condition Kim Chan Du was nominated as a representative candidate. The CID plans to investigate how Rep. Kim received the money and where he spent the money. The CID will also question Rep. Kim on the allegation that he received 30 billion won from Shin Jin Chul, the former chairman of Dongshin Pharmaceuticals.
