Female Employees at "Saemaeul" Bank Thwart Bank Robber
Two girls who work for 'Saemaeul' Bank repulsed a bank robber with a gun.An armed bank robber attempted to rob a branch of 'Saemaeul' Bank at Seokye Dong in Seoul's Yongsan district at 12:50 p.m. on November 25.
But the two women, Hwang Su Im and Choi Han Seok, who were inside the office at the time fearlessly confronted the robber. They fired a gas gun which had been furnished in the office and the robber eventually ran away, empty handed.
At the time, the manager, Seo Jung Hee was returning to the office after lunch and saw the robber fleeing on his motorcycle.
She memorized the licence plate of the motorcycle and informed the police.
The police are checking the number and investigating the attempted robbery.
