Prosecutors Will File for an Arrest Warrant for Lee Jong Ki

Prosecutors investigating bribery and kickbacks by an attorney in Taejon will apply for a warrant for the arrest of attorney Lee Jong Ki and his former chief clerk Kim Hyun on January 13 at the earliest. The Taejon District Prosecutor's Office will also summon 34 people related to the case on the 13th.
A source at the local prosecutor's office in Taejon said on January 12, 'Prosecutors arrested two people this afternoon but will investigate at the most another 48 hours before applying for an arrest warrant for Lee and Kim.'
Prosecutors revealed that Kim could be charged with blackmailing Lee. He allegedly threatened that he would reveal the illegal practices unless Lee paid him money.
