Gov"t to Improve Plan to Send Computer Software Experts Overseas
Last year the Ministry of Information and Telecommunication(MOIT) announced a policy objective that would aid computer software experts to secure jobs overseas. This year the plan is wavering.MOIT formulated the plan last July that originally called for assisting 2,500 software experts in getting work abroad each year for four years, but recently scaled numbers back to 1,000 per year.
Industry affiliates are saying that the plan's curtailment was due to the government's rigidity and inflexibility in implementing the plan.
Accordingly, the government is considering revising the original plan.
A source at the government said, 'The government is considering various improvements on the plan in order to increase the ratio of overseas employment for computer software experts.'
