Two-Year Colleges Increases Capacity

There will be more special admissions for colleges in 2000.
Vocational class students enrollment will be increased to 155,000, which is 14,900 more than that of last year.
The recruiting schedule of 161 junior colleges for 2000 was announced on May 11, and the entrance limit for two-year college will reach 335,000.
Twenty-nine places including Daechon College recruits students from September 1 to December 21 while the rest of schools go between January 7 to February 11 in 2000.
One hundred fourteen schools such as Tongyang Industrial College do not hold interviews.
A student's school record however will be the key point to determine admission.
Most colleges including Kyunghee Nursing College currently meet 40 percent out of the total criteria for recruiting.
