Environment Concert to be Held at Misari

The Organizing Committee of the 99 International Environment Fair is going to hold a concert at the Misari Rowing Club, located in Hanam, Kyonggi Province, at 7 p.m., May 30.
Many Korean singers who reached the height of their popularity in the 1970s and 80s but have since performed on the stages of the numerous cafes dotting the area around Misari's rowing lake will join the concert.
Organizers hope to draw older audience members who are in their thirties and forties. Singer Kim Chang Nam and comedien Park Soo Lim will preside over the concert.
Famous Korean singers such as Song Chang Sik, Lee Kwang Jo, Lee Yong, Lee Sang Woo, Park Jung Woon, and Yoon Si Nae will belt out their most popular hits.
The promotion concert is free of charge, while the 99 International Environment Fair is scheduled to be held at Misari on September 21.
