Herb Festival in Pochon Until July 18
The rich and varied odors emanating from 'Herb Island' in Pochon, Kyonggi Province due to the July 3 commencement of the Herb Festival is drawing more and more people from the metropolitan area.Before the event wraps up on July 18, the air should be saturated with the sweet and fragrant aroma of colorful herbs.
Herb Island is offering two plays including 'King Rear' and pantomimes for those who visit the place at 2 pm and 4 pm every weekend during the festival. It also features a horseback-riding class for children.
People can also enjoy rowing in a pond as well as lectures on herbs by Professor Park Kun-woo of Korea University.
