Integrated Telecommunications Service to be Launched
The local call company Hanaro Telecom announced on September 12 that it will launch an 'integrated message service' in October, which will support all kinds of telephone services, fax machines and computer modems. This service converts various kinds of data, including voice and email transmissions, into one kind of data and sends them in this form.
Until now, subscribers to telecommunications services have had to send and check each kind of service seperately on their computers, fax machines, pagers and phones. However, the launch of the new service will make it possible to communicate using many kinds of services on one subscription.
Customers can subscribe to this service by dialing 106 without a prefix, from September 20.
