EAC Regulates against Illegal Election Campaigns

On March 8, the Election Administration Committee (EAC) set out to regulate illegal election campaigns waged indirectly by public opinion surveyers, usually by telephone.
"There have been some instances of surveyors repeatedly mentioning names of certain candidates without identifying themselves and some even made public unreliable information that favored some candidates," said an official from the committee.
Previously, the Election Administration Committee accused "H" reaseach center on March 7 for asking citizens whether they knew a certain candidate's name was on the anti-nomination list produced by the Citizens' Alliance for the 2000 General Election.
