Fisheries Negotiation Between Korea and China
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade announced on March 9 Korea and China will conduct negotiations for an official fisheries agreement on March 13 and 14 in Beijing.The two countries will sign the fisheries agreement from November of 1998 at the conference. They will also focus on the downstream of the Yangzu river, an area which remains in some contention.
