"One China" Principle
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade announced that Wu Dawei, the Chinese ambassador to Korea, visited the Korean Government Capitol Building in Seoul to meet Ban Ki-moon, vice minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. During the meeting, he expressed his hope that the Korean government will continue to maintain its 'One China' principle.Ban said that the Korea government would maintain its 'One China' principle and added that he hoped the shift in power in Taiwan would contribute to improved relations between China and Taiwan.
